Job Title: Operations Assistant

Location: Kano

Job Description

1. Train staff in policies and procedures and supervise their daily work
2. Implement improved operational measures and policies that promotes efficiency
3. Contribute to waka247 blog and social media post
4. Onboard new drivers to Waka247's platform
5. Help train & monitor drivers to ensure quality service
6. Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures
7. Strategically map-out, plan, and manage number of drivers needed
8. Analyze and maintain operational data
9. You are to efine and implement local operational processes and procedures
10. Your job is to oversee and develop marketing campaigns and events

General Requirements

1. To get the post of Operations Assistant at Waka 24/7, you must have strong IT/ Analytical skills
2. Strong business acumen
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other operational software
4. Applicant must have previous experience in product launches or running a business tech business, transport industry, startup a strong plus
5. Be great at sales (cold-calling, F2F, negotiations)
6. You Must have a data-driven analytical mindset (Excel skills)
7. Applicant is expected to be a go getter
8. You need OND/HND in any course or analytical subject to secure these job
9. Be passionate about new technologies and ride sharing.
10. Fluent in Hausa and English language
11. Experience developing and modelling human resources
12. Adept problem solver and decision maker
13. Excellent communicator both orally and written
14. Respectful of deadlines
