There Is This Guy I Have Serious Crush on, Should I Tell Him [I am a Single Mum]

I have a male friend. He is 24 and I am 28. He appears to be caring and loving towards me. I am a single mum of two kids ages 10 and 4.


The guy happens to be just a friend to me but he has a girlfriend. He told me that his girlfriend cheats on him and I encourage him to continue showing her love till she changes.

This my friend defends me from the father of my kids because he comes to where I trade to harass me in the name of seeing his kids. He did not pay my bride price and I have been living with him for ten years.

I left him because of the way he maltreats me and treats me like an animal. I have realized my mistake and I left him.

He also beats me and presses my neck and I have been having revelations that he will kill me.

Now this my male friend looks more matured than his age physically and mentally. Whenever I miss him like a friend, he calls me immediately.

It has been happening like this for some months now. I see signs that he is heading somewhere but he is not saying anything. I dreamt once that he proposed marriage to me and I told him. His reply was it is not a bad thing.

He makes me happy and my kids like him a lot too. We reason on the same level and any day we see each other, we are always happy.


Please is this normal?

Note: we have not had s*x oo. I am bothered about the age gap between us and we are falling in love but we are respecting our friendship.

He Always calls me and wen I pick, it will be a topic that will make us laugh. I don't know what to do about this.
