Nigerian National Assembly staffs seen protesting over unpaid salaries and lack of due promotion.
They were seen holding different placards with inscriptions of their dissatisfaction and chanting ''no pay, no sitting'', According to the angry workers, they made us understand that they have not been paid since 2010 and accused the management of the Assembly of diverting funds meant for their training.ALSO READ: Kidnappers Suspected To Be Herdsmen Kidnaps Oil Firm Worker In Delta State
Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, tried to address them but his attempt was rebuffed by the protesting workers who also prevented him from gaining access into the senate chamber.
