Also, Kindly bear it in mind that the CU 150 EU undergraduate students scholarship at the moment is only available for EU nationality students who hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate course starting in September 2018, living in the EU and who are paying their full tuition fees as an EU student.

How to Obtain Student Visa to Study in Coventry University UK

To obtain a Tier 4 student visa, applicants are expected to show that they have the accurate level of English language competency to study in the UK. The requirements varies depending on whether they are applying to study a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English programme or those who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate degree programme.

Study Subject: The scholarship is available to all EU students applying for the 1st year of a full-time undergraduate programme.

Scholarship Award:

Coventry University is proud to offer Academic Excellence Scholarships to 150 EU undergraduate students who have an exceptional academic achievement.


The university have awards of £1,250 towards living expenses available for the best and brightest EU students living in an EU country. The scholarship is paid directly to the student in two installments.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

Eligible Countries: Students from EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Entrance Requirements: You must meet the following criteria  to gain admission

1. The scholarships are allocated on a first come, first served basis to 150 applicants on the basis of their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following:

• Academic excellence criteria (listed by country)
• Coventry University must be your First choice option

2. The scholarship is available to all EU students applying for the 1st year of a full-time undergraduate programme.

3. English Language Requirements: In order to obtain a Tier 4 student visa, applicants are required to demonstrate that they have the correct level of English language competency to study in the UK. The requirements differ depending on whether they are applying to study a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English programme or those who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

How to Apply for Coventry University 150 EU Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship 2019

In order to be considered for the EU Academic Excellence Scholarship you will need to submit the following details:

1. Email with the subject line: “EU Academic Excellence Scholarship Application”

2. Before sending the mail, kindly send your UCAS ID number along with it. Example: “EU Academic Excellence Scholarship Application – 123456789”

3. Also attach a scanned copy of your academic transcripts to your scholarship application email confirming you have met the academic eligibility criteria before you finally send the mail to them.

NOTE: Only applications received by the deadline 31st August will be considered and the panel’s decision is final. If you are successful, you will be notified in due course by the International Office, however, if you do not receive feedback on your application by 31st October 2018 then please consider that your application was unsuccessful.
