Governor Willie Obiano, attends the Retreat of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council holding at their Secretariat, Government House, Awka.

Also present at the seminar include, Amanyanabor Of Opobo Land, HRM Andison Jaja Opobo, The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Nnia Nwodo, The chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, Agbogidi, Obi of Onitsha and several others.

The Seminar is Themed: "...Governor Obiano's Landslide Electoral Victory and the Making of a United and Greater Igbo Nation..."

The governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano earlier today, declared open the 7th Summit of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council with the Theme, "Governor Obiano's Landslide Victory and The Making of a United and Greater Igbo Land", which held at the Traditional Rulers Chambers, Government House Awka.

The governor charged the Traditional Fathers on peace building in their respective communities stressing that if we can maintain concrete peace in every community in Anambra state, then it is completely well with us. Speaking further, Gov Obiano appreciated the efforts of the Royal fathers on the maintenance of peace in their communities which has kept Anambra as the safest sate in Nigeria. He further thanked Ndi Igwe Anambra on their efforts and supports that gave him and APGA the 21 over 21 flawless victory.

In his welcome remarks, the Chairman of Anambra state, Traditional Rulers Council and the Igwe of Onitsha, Igwe Alphred Nnaemeka Achebe appreciated Gov Willie Obiano for stamping Anambra out in remarkable areas of development - Security, Agriculture and all round infrastructures to communities of the state. He pledged the council's continued support of Ndi Igwe Anambra to his government.

In their separate remarks, the Ohaneze Ndigbo President, Chief Nnia Nwodo reminded Gov Willie Obiano that Anambra is the pride of the Igbo land and as such, must keep the fire burning. He thanked Gov Obiano for availing the Ohanaeze Ndigbo all that was required for hosting the Ohaneze SouthEast/SouthSouth Restructuring Submit, which held on 21st May, 2018.

In his address, the Special Guest of Honour to the event and the Amanyanabor of Opobo Land, HRM, Jaja of Opobo, appreciated Gov Obiano on his development strides. He said that with Gov Obiano,  Anambra is moving forward and making giant strides.
