Obidigwe 's chieftaincy Title by Anambra west Traditional rulers turned into a largest political rally ever had in the history of Anambra East and west federal constituency.

It was a great day at Umueze Anam community secondary school of Anambra west local government as all the traditional rulers in Anambra west unanimously honoured chief, Hon Chinedu Obidigwe with the chieftaincy title of AMALU UBIAMU ANAA 1 of ANAMBRA WEST L. G. which means (if you identify with Obidigwe you will no longer be a poor person) .

The event which was attended by over five thousand (5000) persons from Anambra East and west started with remarks on chief Chinedu Obidigwe by major stakeholders of Anambra west including youth leaders.

Narrating their reason for giving Hon.Obidigwe such a rare title, the traditional rulers of Anambra west headed by HRH Igwe Slverster Nnose (Eze Di Ebube n' Anam) noted that Chief Chinedu Obidigwe has empowered both the youths , women and elders of Anambra west more than any other person including those who are representing the constituency now and in the past.

On their own, the Anambra west youth vanguard headed by John David observed that Hon. Obidigwe has done to the youth of Anambra west what nobody has done before and this was actually what prompted their resolution to endorse him as their consensus candidate for house of representatives Anambra east and west come 2019.

According to the transition chairman of Anambra west , Hon Collins Nwabunwanne ,Obidigwe has distinguished himself among others and has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he will deliver at the green chambers of the National Assembly if given the opportunity haven delivered in all the position of authority he was saddled with.

Members of the Anambra west women groups and indeed members of the Odogwu Anam,
Members of Omambala youth were also represented in their good numbers and was led by Esselu Aguleri.
The last but definitely not the least and one of the formidable among all are members were the Ikwusi Ikwusi Anambra who appeared in their white and red regalia with red chieftaincy cap as shown in the pictures and who was led by her chairman Comr.Okoye Chike Stone.

Responding to the title given to him, Chief Obidigwe thanked the Anambra west youth vanguard and the traditional rulers for finding him worthy of the title of Amalu Ubiamu Anaa 1of Anambra west L. G Aka oma further expressed his satisfaction with the people of Anambra west for their unalloyed support on his aspiration to represent the constituency at the green chambers of the National Assembly.

Obidigwe however observed that he never requested for the chieftaincy title given to him but had to accept the call for honour by ndi Anambra west in the spirit of brotherhood and sportsmanship which he described as a right and wise decision by Ndi Anambra west and added that he shall do more if elected member representing the good people of Anambra east and west at the national Assembly come 2019.

Highlight of the event includes display of shows by different groups in solidarity of Igbaa Abuja agenda, there was also the display of Atu Mmanwu (Masquerade) which symbolizes big ceremony.

The chieftaincy title was described by many as the highest political, social and cultural event ever had in the history of Anambra west with the presence of all the stakeholders in Anambra east and west and the state at large.
